The BOMBANANA! Defusal Manual is the single source of truth for disarming explosives across all 30 campaign levels and endless mode waves. In every three-monkey squad, Mute Monkey is the sole operative entrusted with this manual.

Because Mute cannot speak into voice chat or type instructions, understanding the manual’s precise conditional hierarchy is the difference between a clean disarm and an explosive team wipe.

1. Wire Cutting Module Decision Hierarchy

The Wire Cutting module consists of 3 to 6 parallel colored wires connected to a digital timer block. Deaf Monkey must count the wires and call out their colors from top to bottom before Mute begins evaluating the logic table.

2. Banana Keypad & Symbol Matrices

The Keypad module presents four circular buttons engraved with esoteric banana and jungle glyphs. Blind Monkey cannot see these symbols; Deaf Monkey must describe the glyph geometry or mimic them using the Emote Wheel.

To solve the module, locate the single column below that contains all four active symbols, then press them in order from top to bottom:

Rule for Mute Monkey: As soon as you identify the correct column, signal numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 to Deaf Monkey using distinct hand gestures. Deaf Monkey will then vocalize the exact button sequence to Blind Monkey.

3. Capacitor Discharge Lever Protocol

The Capacitor Discharge Module features a needle gauge that steadily charges toward an overload threshold. Unlike logic puzzles, this is an active timing maintenance module:

• The needle charges from 0% to 100% over approximately 30 seconds.
• If the needle enters the red danger zone (85%+), a piercing siren alerts the squad.
• Solve Protocol: Blind Monkey must pull down and hold the discharge lever for exactly 2.5 seconds until the gauge vents steam and resets to 0%. Releasing too early causes an instantaneous strike.

4. Five Golden Rules for Zero-Error Relay

1. Never Deliver Stale Answers: If the bomb timer enters a hazard blackout, all previously signaled inputs are considered void until visibility returns.
2. Count Before Color: Deaf Monkey must always state the total number of items (wires, buttons, pins) before describing color combinations.
3. Two-Strike Handshake: Blind Monkey must verbally repeat the target wire or button (“Cutting Wire 2, confirmed”) and wait for Deaf Monkey’s verbal “Go” before cutting.
4. Slap Interruption: If Blind Monkey reaches toward the wrong module, Deaf Monkey or Mute Monkey must immediately slap Blind Monkey to reset action focus.
5. Color-Blind Verification: Squads with color vision deficiency should activate Steam Color Blind Mode in Settings to display numeric tags on all colored wires.
